Admission Programs
The School has two main admission programs: Pre-NCE, and NCE regular.
Pre-NCE Program
The Pre-NCE programme is aimed to assist students who do not meet the entry qualifications for admission to the NCE Regular to prepare them for admission into the NCE programme. The Unit runs JAMB/Extra Moral classes the students.
NCE Regular Program
The NCE Regular Programme is a full-time course of study with a duration of three academic years. It is designed to prepare students for the award of the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) across various teaching disciplines. Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the three-year NCE Regular Programme of Osi College of Education.

Entry Requirements
A. General and Departmental Requirements for NCE Programme
- A Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB) O’ Level with credit passes in four (4) subjects, at not more than two sittings including English Language and Mathematics. Two of the credits must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to study.
- A Grade ll Teacher’s Certificate (TC II) with Credit or Merits in four subjects, two of which must be relevant to the course the candidate wishes to offer. Credit/Merit passes in English Language and Mathematics are required for all candidates. TC II referred is not acceptable.
Departmental Requirements:
- Credit Pass in English and Literature in English are required for candidates wishing to study English Language, Theatre Art.
- Candidate who wishes to study Computer Science, a credit in Physics is required.
- Candidate who wishes to study Agric. Science needs a Credit in Agric/Bio and at least, a pass in Chemistry.
- Business Education. Credits in English, Economics or Commerce, Book keeping or Financial Accounting is required.
B. General Requirement for Pre-NCE Programme
Senior Secondary School Certificate (WAEC/NECO/NABTEB) O’ Level with at least four (4) passes at two sittings or three (3) passes at one sitting.
Admission Process
Obtain Form & Pay Fee
Obtain the application form online at the College portal via google form after paying the non-refundable fee of ₦5,000.
Prepare & Print Form
Complete the application form online, print the completed form, and prepare the five required supporting documents.
Submit Documents
Return the completed online application print-out and all required documents to the College Admission Office for verification.
Awaiting Admission
The College will review your submission. Successful applicants will be contacted regarding their admission status and next steps.
Required Documents for Submission
The completed application form print-out must be returned to the Admission Office with the following documents:
- •Birth Certificate
- •School Certificate/Result (WASC/GCE/SSCE/NECO)
- •JAMB (UTME) Result Slip (for those who wrote JAMB Exams for NCE)
- •Two recent passport photographs (Red background only)
- •Local Government Area of Origin / Letter of Identification
